Went to Papparella Trattoria for Magical Dining. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the evening went downhill pretty quickly. Once seated, my guest and I started ordering and asked our server for a few recommendations. It seemed like we were asking for the secrets to the universe rather than which dishes were good. While we were still ordering our entrees, our appetizers arrived. Apparently, the kitchen was operating on a different timeline than we were. Things got worse when I found a dead fly/gnat in the greens. I pointed it out, and they replaced the dish, which I appreciated. Then a family was seated in the booth behind us with a small child who continuously jumped up, faced my guest, and screamed at full volume. We eventually had to move tables just to have a conversation. When our entrees arrived, we finally started eating. Then, because apparently one insect wasn’t enough, a LIVE fly/gnat landed in my guest’s food and decided it was staying for dinner. A different server came over, and after I pointed it out, she simply scraped it off the side of the plate. No replacement was offered. We came via Instagram posts from our Brazilian friends. Hold and behold, they exceeded our expectations. If I could I would give it a 6 ⭐. We had Fetuccine Bolognese screaming flavors all over in a perfect combination of tomatoes, seasoning and minced meat, the cheese pizza had a beautiful crust, melted cheese with an amazing crust and stretchy, but now let's talk about the best dish of the night: Gnocchi with Octopus. The flavor is well, straight from Italy with a layover in Brazil. The Octopus was soft, perfectly cooked with a little crust that gave it an amazing crunchy feeling and the seasoning... Ohh my God, a smoky flavor... It is just perfection. Just have it... And as any good Brazilian, Nutella Pizza... The words were : Ohh WOW. Couldn't be different we love our sweet pizzas. That is what happens when you mix Brazil and Italy. We will be back for more because there was too many things to eat and too little time but we are certain that it will be spectacular. They just spoiled every other Italian restaurant in US. Thank you! An absolute gem in Orlando! Papparella completely delivered. The atmosphere is fantastic, but sitting at the bar made the night even better. The bartender was absolutely phenomenal—super attentive, welcoming, and mixing up some seriously top-tier cocktails. ​As for the food, the Carpaccio was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the Rigatoni Tartufo was spectacular—perfectly executed and rich. Because the experience is this good, the place gets busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation. I will definitely be back!

Papparella Trattoria exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Daniel provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with a pizza appetizer that was perfectly prepared, with fresh ingredients and an incredible crust. The carpaccio was spectacular—beautifully presented and full of flavor. The pasta was equally impressive, with generous portions and exceptional taste in every bite. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. On top of that, the value for the money was excellent. Great quality, generous portions, outstanding service, and a very reasonable price point. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Daniel, for making our visit so enjoyable. Highly recommended!

My only concern would be you’d think this sounds too good to be true. I promise you, if anything I should say even more. From the moment we were seated Gizela made sure our every need was exceeded. Our arancini appetizer was perfect and crisp on the outside with the expected wonderful creaminess inside! Here on a business trip my colleague and I split the Gorgonzola and pear salad… a salad gets 5 stars?? A salad gets 5 stars! And the main… table side pollo parmigiana alla vodka was both a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach! The chicken was perfectly tender and thin with a light crispy crust, the sauce with just enough bite. I only regret I didn’t come here last night so I could also return this evening. Put a pin in this place and make sure you come here! Kids were around us and it’s family friendly but also a nice cozy atmosphere! Oh!! Also, the OG prosciutto slicer… amazing (see photos) Thank you Gizela and Papparella! We can NOT wait to return!!
